The Blue Molinos swim shorts are a bold visual statement, featuring geometric forms that capture the unmistakable style of Álvaro Picardo. From the moment the Arrels Barcelona team witnessed his creative process, translating his work into a swimwear design became an absolute must. These shorts include an elastic waistband with drawstring, two side seam pockets, and a back flap pocket with Velcro® closure. An embroidered logo on the front adds a subtle signature detail. Made in Morocco, this design merges art and functionality with effortless flair.
About the Artist
Álvaro Picardo is a Spanish artist and designer known for his playful use of color, pattern, and structure. His creative universe blends retro-futurism with bold visual codes, resulting in artwork that is instantly recognizable. His collaboration with Arrels Barcelona transforms his eye-catching visual language into wearable pieces of art that radiate energy and originality. Composition & Care

To preserve the quality of your swim shorts:
- Rinse with water after each use
- Machine wash on gentle cycle at 30°C
- Do not use detergents with bleaching agents
- Air dry only; do not tumble dry
- If ironing is necessary, turn inside out and use a maximum temperature of 110°C
- Do not dry clean

These swim shorts are made from 100% recycled polyester, sourced from plastic bottles, contributing to the reduction of plastic waste. Produced in Morocco with care and responsibility, they also support environmental protection: for every pair sold, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the Surfrider Foundation, which works to safeguard oceans and coastlines.
